This idea for successful and stable calf rearing comes from the USA. The multi-purpose colostrum bag, which can fulfil a whole host of functions at once.

The 3.7-3.8 litre container, specially made from highly durable silver foil material with special thermal properties, is ideal for

- gentle freezing (with special labelling fields for the date of filling, cow number or name, and recording the colostrum quality.

- Equally safe, gentle and convenient thawing in a water bath: thanks to the insulating thermal outer skin, heat contact does not occur abruptly, allowing slightly higher temperatures in the thawing water bath (of around 45-50°C) and therefore even faster thawing.

- Gentle pasteurisation

- application directly from the bag, either via a screw-on teat (depending on the quantity supplied)

- or via your drench system.
