Ammonia test

New ingeniously easy-to-use ammonia noxious gas test strips for on-site use. – Very quick and extremely cost-effective and amazingly accurate measurements in the barn!

Simply tear off 2.5 cm strips from the roll, moisten with 1-2 drops of clean water and allow to swirl and incubate for 15 seconds in the air space to be tested. Hold the test strip on the color palette of the package and assign the color obtained to the scale. The limit for harmless ammonia concentrations is a maximum of 5 ppm.

Ammonia irritates the airways and is considered a door opener for respiratory diseases. If the NH3 values are increased, it must be assumed that other harmful gases such as carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide or hydrogen sulphide are also increased and irritate the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract.
